Zenith: Tanzanite & Diamond White Gold Ring
A beautiful 3.81ct trillion-cut Tanzanite (h:9.62mm w:9.5mm d:6.72mm), set on an 18ct white gold band, surrounded with a halo of 18 brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling 0.2ct (F colour and VS Clarity). The deep blue really stands out in this gem shape.
My gem cutter said: These don't come along every day. Tanzanites in the 3 carat range which are commonly available in the market are generally medium grades with a somewhat desaturated colour. When miners find crystals of this size displaying top colour intensity, it causes great excitement!
This exquisite 3.81 carat Trillion mixed brilliant cut shows why. A truly superb, rare Tanzanite. Mined from the renowned Block D mine, this stone is unparalleled. Cut directly on the blue axis, it exudes a high intensity, almost alive blue. In incandescent light red flash fills the stone. Flawless, beautifully cut. An exceptional Tanzanite in all respects.
