Design concepts with a 3.99ct Asscher cut peridot

Asscher-cut Pakistani peridot

Peridot is no ordinary green gemstone. It was formed deep within our planet and carried towards the surface by volcanic activity, this extraordinary mineral has also been discovered in meteorites that are billions of years old, formed as far back as the solar system was!

This is such a joyful and vibrant gem! It’s a decent size too. Personally I think a yellow gold setting would show this peridot at its best, although white gold or platinum would make the green pop too.

I bought it because I hadn’t designed with a peridot before I thought that and this Asscher-cut would lend itself to an art deco halo style design very well.

It’s a statement gem and deserves a statement design around it!

If you’re interested in working with me on a design using this certified peridot, please let me know!
